Feels Like Valentine’s Day
In Centigrade right now, at half-one in the morning in Kansas City it is -13C with, I am told, a Real Feel of -23C.
I say Centigrade, because if you’re more familiar with Fahrenheit then you’re probably already here and you know how cold it is. Even if you are in bed.
So around me are three electric heaters and yet when I reach down I cannot feel my legs. Sadly, it being Valentine’s Day now, when I reach down I can’t feel anybody’s legs.
And No, everybody, there may well be several inches of snow out there again but I am not building another igloo. If I may quote British Rail from their glory days, it’s the wrong kind of snow.
And while I’m snowed in I’m so very close to being Snowed Out, in that Turkeyed Out kind of way. Perhaps I’m assimilating.
