Emerald Isle Parade 2009 in Lee’s Summit, MO
The annual Lee’s Summit Emerald Isle Parade takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2009 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri at 1pm.
The parade route starts at Lee’s Summit High School and proceeds west on 8th Street, then north on Green to 3rd Street, then west on 3rd to SE Main, then north on SE Main. The parade will then cross 2nd street and disperse at the United Methodist Church.
After the parade there is a Pub Crawl starting at 3pm with 10 bars are participating - there is no charge to enter. Ask at any of the 10 bars and you’ll be given a punch card. Take it with you, as each bar will have specials. End at Jerry’s Bait Shop with all 10 punches on your card and you will be entered to win a gift basket.
The 2005 Citizen of the Year, Gene Gamber, is the Grand Marshall of this year’s Lee’s Summit Emerald Isle parade.
