Elders in Chicago Paper
The Elders are featured in a Mary Houlihan article in the Chicago Sun Times today.
In advance of tonight and tomorrow’s gigs at Ballydoyle in Downer’s Grove, Illinois The Elders are re-labeled “more of an Americana folk-rock band with Celtic and Cajun influences” by Houlihan to which Wicklow front man Ian Byrne confirms, “We’re really a melting pot of roots music”.
Elders fans in Kansas City will be very familiar with the genesis of the group, and with the story of the story of a fish - if ya know what I mean - so there’s not much new in here, but the article is an increasing sign of more national exposure for the boys in a very busy year.
