Eileen Ivers Irish Christmas in Lawrence, KS
On December 8, 2007 Eileen Ivers returns to the KC region when she performs An Nollaig (An Irish Christmas) at the Lied Center of Kansas.
The concert will feature holiday favorites as well as traditional Irish songs, and coincides with Ivers’ brand new CD called “An Nollaig: An Irish Christmas”
Actually Eileen Ivers and Immigrant Soul brought this show to MSU in Springfield in Missouri this time last year, so for Kansas City it’s getting that bit easier to catch this year.
Whenever Ivers turns up with a fiddle I could go forever about her. As I did when she just sat on a couch beside me. Or as I did when prompted by a review of Ivers in a Pops Concert. In short, if you ask me what I think of a gig by Eileen Ivers and Immigrant Soul I’m likely to scream, go.

The Lied Center of Kansas is at 1600 Stewart Drive in Lawrence, Kansas.

Strictly speaking An Nollaig just means “Christmas”, but it’s in Irish so that makes it an Irish Christmas, if you know what I mean.
The Plymouth Congregational Church Bell Choir will be performing in the lobby before the concert.
