Connie Dover is performing a benefit concert for the House of Menuha on Sunday, October 19, 2007 at 7pm in the Hillside Christian Church.
Connie is performing with well known guitarist and fiddler, Kelly Werts.
The House of Menuha is an urban retreat center for women.
Acclaimed by the Boston Globe as “the finest folk ballad singer America has produced since Joan Baez,” Connie Dover is a singer, poet and Emmy Award-winning producer and composer. Drawing from the great musical traditions of Ireland and Scotland, and those of their pioneering American descendants, Connie weaves a living history of all that is folk for those touched by a Celtic American heritage.
