Cathie Ryan Band in Kansas
On July 2, 3, and 4, 2008 the Cathie Ryan Band is performing in a series of Chamber Music at The Barn concerts at Prairie Pines in Maize, Kansas.
These concerts should be of interest to anybody anywhere near Maize - the town, not the crop - which is down by Wichita.
The concerts by the CRB are worth travelling for, especially as by my estimations it’s 18 months since the excellent night Cathie Ryan performed in Kansas City.
Chamber Music at The Barn is a summer chamber music festival offering the opportunity to enjoy professional chamber music during the summer months, as well as dinner in the gardens at Prairie Pines Tree Farm before each concert. 4 concerts consisting of classical chamber music and one concert from a different genre are performed during the months of June, July, and August.
