Captain Mackey’s Goatskin & Stringband
Jimmy Crowley and Máirtin de Cógáin are performing in Kansas City for just one night. On Monday week, March 9th, 2007 at 7pm the two Corkmen are playing at Eddie Delahunt’s Café &.
Jimmy Crowley is a true legend in Irish folk singing and songwriting, and Máirtin de Cógáin is well known to Kansas City audiences as the front man of the the Fuchsia Band. Together they are running as Captain Mackey’s Goatskin & Stringband and they have their new album ready to sell! I’m hearing good reports on the album - there’s a couple of 30-second samples on the website for you to listen to.
