Brigid’s Cross
Brigid’s Cross are a traditional Irish music playing trio that were formed in 1996. They play blazing fiddle, thunderous bodhran, and other instruments that sound like they might hurt.
With music from different eras, some parodies even, and a little bit of dancing, BC have found themselves playing most of the biggest Irish festivals in America - and even Brendan Grace’s gaf in Clare in Ireland.
From the 2006 Kalamazoo Irish Festival, here’s a video of Brigid’s Cross:
Brigid’s Cross are scheduled to play the 2006 Weston Irish Festival in Missouri:
• Saturday Oct 14 - 10:30pm inside on the Hall Stage
• Sunday Oct 15 - 3:20pm outside on the Courtyard Stage
• Sunday Oct 15 - 6:00pm inside on the Hall stage
