2009 St. Paddy’s Day Run Registration
A reminder about registration for the St. Patrick’s Day Run in Westport. Last day to register for $20 (comes with a flashy commemorative t-shirt) is February 28th, 2009. After that the fee goes up!
It is requested that you go to this event and “show your Irish (or fake Irish) pride”, and I don’t think they’re talking about sliced bread.
Registration Fees for Individual Entry by Dates:
$20 Thru Feb. 28
$25 Thru March 13
$30 Thru March 14
Actually all entry fees go up after Feb 28 - for KC Sports & Track members, for teams, and for the kids fun run. A commemorative t-shirt is guaranteed to all pre-registered participants.
The St. Patrick’s Day Run in Westport takes place on Saturday March 14 at 10am - which you’ll note is not actually St Patrick’s Day - at Westport Road & Pennsylvania Avenue.
The Westport St. Patrick’s Day Run is sponsored by The Greater Kansas City Sports Commission and Foundation. The Parade Committee is a friend of the event.
Following the 4 mile run, there is a Kids Fun Runs with great gift bags for the kids. Race participants, volunteers, and families are welcome to stay in Westport to enjoy discounted food and drink specials along with the After Party and Awards Ceremony.
