The first time I saw Sneem was in the rain one epic day I travelled by train, by hitch-hiking, and by foot, from Dublin to the western edge of the Ring of Kerry. And in the rain it looked like the sort of village that had won Tidy Towns awards.
I started this painting 6 years ago and have been working on it (and re-working on it) through all those years, finally completing it in late 2011. So it should really be 10 times the price.
If you’re known to me you could always pay me direct and save me the processing fees. Direct means personal cheque/check, account transfer, or that stuff called cash.
This painting is now SOLD.
Note : Sneem is painted on a canvas panel and will need framing.
