Sandycove as seen from as you come out of Dun Laoghaire is such an iconic scene. Since I’ve exhibited this painting it has sparked many stories about the scene from Dublin. I like that, and will miss the painting since I barely had it 5 minutes - but it’s gone to a very good home.
This painting was SOLD at the 2010 Irish Blog Awards in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Galway.
Sandycove is painted on the sides, which are 0.75″ wide:
