USA & Ireland: Little Differences #5
Car Bombs
I love Irish car bombs, is a phrase I never heard before moving to America.
In America, a car bomb is a drink with an Irish theme. In Ireland a car bomb is an improvised explosive device placed in a car by an Irish team.
The Ingredients of the Drink are Irish Stout, Irish cream liquer, and Irish Whiskey. The ingredients of the IED may include many types of initiators, detonators, and explosive loads, possibly even some metal objects, such as nails or ball bearings
Other Little Differences:
• Tennis Balls
• Seats at the Halfway Line
• Robins
• Dead Animals
