St Patrick Kicks Off
So right now the traditional beginning to all things celebratory of St Patrick is underway.
It’s the St. Patrick’s Kick-Off Luncheon at Marriott Muehlebach Hotel. Right now the cocktails and the food are probably mixing, and in the background Eddie & Friends are playing some Irish music to coax it down, before the stated end-time.
With Irish KC being an Irish-related site, it means that practically every event from here to March 18th, is a St Patrick’s event. As such I won’t be putting things on the regular events calendar - instead I’ll continue to add and update the St Patrick’s Day Events in KC page.
That said, don’t forget that tonight you have a rare chance to see the Wild Clover Band - who are down from Nebraska to play at O’Malley’s, as well as Bob Reeder at Kyle’s, Flannigan’s Right Hook at O ‘Dowd’s Zona Rosa, Eddie Delahunt at the Westsider, and the Lucky Charms in Leavenworth. Fairly soon you should be seeing links for Mickey’s North and South, Mike Kelly’s Westsider, McCoy’s in Westport, Twin City Tavern, both O’Dowd’s of course, the Brooksider, Balanca’s, the Levee, Freddy T’s, Succotash, the Roxy, the Record Bar, Skybox, and oh about twenty other venues. Oh yes, and Mass.
Meanwhile I’ll try and go easy on the feed readers, and reserve normal nonsense for you chosen people.
