Nobody’s Child #37
When living in Kansas City the limited time I got to spend with my son was time we did things together. I wrote these words 4 summers ago:
Weekend with Mr. Moo was stupendous. Freakily the weather in hot unbearable July dropped to a cold 8 degrees. It rained wonderfully almost all day on Saturday so we made it an art project day. He made something with cement he found and some clay tiles I had made earlier. And I started paintings of some Irish towns and a scene near Dingle.
A gap in the rain and we walked with the dog, looking at rabbits and birds, and bowling walnuts along the trail as if we were in the West of Ireland.
And before bed we fitted in a full-length animated webcast of Dr. Who. And we both laughed.
