Molloy Brothers Irish Pub on St Patrick’s Day 2007
Molloy’s Irish Pub in Westport. By the covered wagon. 1020 Westport Road. Next door to First Watch. The place that used to be Finnegan’s.
You don’t go out very often, do you? Every St Patrick’s Day maybe? And the last couple of years you haven’t gone to Molloy’s, but you meant to?
Well it’s been years, but Molloy Bros Irish Pub has long been replaced by a non-Irish pub called the Record Bar. It’s very different and it’s very good - one of the best live music venues in the city.
But you know, the Record Bar on St Patrick’s Day has a big Blow Out in a a big tent anyway. So do consider going.
Oh, and you know that both the WJ McBride’s Irish Pubs have closed down? And that Kennedy’s burned down?
