Luka Bloom’s new CD ‘Tribe’
Tribe, the much awaited new CD by Luka Bloom, the man who almost played Kansas City in 2006, is finally finished.
Tribe is a collaboration Bloom worked on over the last year with Simon O’Reilly - a Dub based by the Cliffs of Moher. This new album is intended to be available from February 1st.
You may remember we spoke of this collaboration before and the interesting idea Luka Bloom had of financing the recording of the album through advance sales based on a rough mix of one track on MP3, I Am A River - a slow track on the Damien Rice side.
As it turns out Luka has also finished, at the same time, the DVD that fans have been eagerly awaiting. It turns out the decision to move Bloom’s DVD recording to a gig in his home was a good one. So as to give the CD Tribe a chance to get out there and be enjoyed fully, the DVD release is being held back until April 1st - no joke.
