Joe Miquelon joins The Elders
Brett Gibson, The Elders‘ popular accordion player has left The Elders for personal and business reasons, and his replacement is Joe Miquelon.
Joe is Kansas City native with a degree in music composition from Tulsa University. He is one of Kansas City’s most respected musicians having worked with numerous regional and national musical groups as saxophonist and/or keyboardist, including Bonnie Raitt, The Temptations, The Spinners, members of Eric Clapton’s band, The Mills Brothers and Asleep at the Wheel.
Miquelon makes his debut with the band at the 4th Annual Elders Hoolie, at the Uptown Theater, here in Kansas City on St Patrick’s Day.
We LOVE Brett
Hey Eolaí,
This is great stuff. Well done. I just wanted to let you know that Joe\’s last name has an \’n\’ at the end of it…Miquelon. I\’m working on the new CD cover so I see a lot of all their names.
Best of luck. And my hats off to you. This blogging is tough stuff and you do it very well.
Danny
Thanks for that. As if a typo in a heading isn’t bad enough I then replicate it throughout the post.
