Irish legend Jimmy Crowley in Kansas City, MO
In a huge piece of news for the Irish traditional music scene in Kansas City and the Midwest, the legendary Corkman Jimmy Crowley will be playing at O’Malley’s of Weston, MO on Sunday, January 21, 2007 when he fills Bob Reeder’s regular spot.
This is Crowley’s second date in the Kansas City area, having appeared at Eddie Delahunt’s Cafe & on Thursday, January 18 2007.
Crowley is a unique and special talent. A storyteller, folk singer and performer extraordinaire, Jimmy is lauded by giants of Irish folk like Liam Clancy and Mary Black. Because he walks among them.
