Halfway to St Patrick’s Day with the KC Royals
Jake Sanders of the Royals was telling me that “the luck of the Irish will shine on the 2nd annual Half-Way to St. Patrick’s Day at Kauffman Stadium”.
There will “live music, all the great Irish food you can eat” and then you even get to watch baseball as at 7:10pm the Royals take on the Seattle Mariners.
At Last year’s event 20,000 fans at the Kauffman got green Royals caps, but their website isn’t big on details this year. UPDATE - Jake has sent me the pricing:
Upper Decks - Groups $10, Individuals $12
Lower Decks - Groups $20, Individuals $22
Field Plaza - Groups $18, Individuals $20
All packages include a ticket, beer voucher, and hat.
This all takes place on Wednesday September 17, 2008, but for more information you can contact Jake Sanders at 816.504.4494.
This event is posted on the Kansas City Irish events calendar, though I suspect I’ll be adding more details to it later.
