Gaelic Football Taking Off With KC GAC
The new Gaelic Athletic Club of Kansas City seems to be going from strength to strength.
It’s very early days and a lot of hard work, but nice to see the reports of the 2nd session of Gaelic Football sounding so enthusiastic, and among the many updates it’s great to see the KCGAC making friends with their ilk in Arkansas.
John from Little Rock GAA club in Arkansas has posted here on Irish KC a few times, including yesterday.
So KC Irish community, the beginning is a crucial time - do what you can to help it succeed and grow - and before you know it you’ll be watching a Gaelic Football tournament between teams from Kansas City, St Louis, Denver, Little Rock, and, well you get the picture.
Gaelic Football training and games takes place on Sundays at 1pm, at the Southwest High playing fields by 65th & Wornall - which should appear on the KC Irish Events calendar.
