4 Tunes from Flannigan’s Right Hook
Flannigan’s Right Hook have changed the songs completely on their MySpace place. Say myspace place really fast five times. Actually that was kinda easy.
Anyway, sounding irresistibly themselves, Flannigan’s Right Hook can now be heard performing Star of Munster, Mountain Dew, The Boxer and Spanish Lady. I was going to single out Shane for sounding excellent on the fiddle, but really the three boys are very tight and very complementary.
The Boxer is theirs, not the standard man alone copying Art Garfunkel unsuccessfully because he’s confident of getting his Lie-La-Lie’s from the watching drinkers. And once I got over myself and my Dublin, and hearing Spanish Lady in a distinctly un-Dublin accent, well, it’s very much theirs too. And all very nicely produced, to boot.
