Not the first time I’ve painted Parkgate Street, it being one of my favourite streets in Dublin. Being from Dublin west, Parkgate Street is the street which traditionally welcomes me to the city centre though this view is as it is about to bid be safe home. The Criminal Courts building is now a spectacular backdrop, from as far back as Victoria Quay on the south bank of the Liffey and I quite like it.
