Another painting in the Men in Conversation series, the 4th, though controversially it makes no mention of conversing in its title. Also they didn’t say much, the way you often don’t when you’re reading and the person you’re with is also reading. I loved the sight of these 2 men standing up, with the glasses down their noses, just reading, together.
