Sometimes I walk just to look at trees. Or leaves. I look at leaves a lot, on trees and on the ground. This painting is of a tree with its last remaining leaves before they fall to the ground.
I think this painting is much nicer in reality than this photo manages to depict. It was the most popular of my paintings shown at Stephen’s Green in September 2010, and personally I think it looks really good from across the road - so if you have a very big house…
