In the last couple of years I’ve found myself in Dalkey for many a fine night. And frequently on the cycle home the next day I detour to take in the harbours of Dublin’s south coast, sketching and photographing. Boats are great shapes and this is the first of 3 paintings I did based on the boats at Coliemore Harbour in Dalkey.
