As the name of this painting suggests, it’s not the first painting I’ve done of birds on wires, though it is the first where there’s a curve in the wires - crazy man that I am - and it’s the first since early this year. The previous 9 paintings in the series all sold fairly quickly.
There’s never a day goes by that I don’t look at and enjoy the shapes of wires and of birds and especially the combination of birds on wires. While I expect the paintings will one day stop I don’t expect I’ll stop the looking, and I continue to enjoy everybody telling me they’re reminded of my paintings when they see birds on wires.
