Luka Bloom Maintains Innocence

As music festival season gears up, Luka Bloom is featured in today's New York Daily News, in somewhat philosophical mood as he talks about security through forgiveness rather than rage. And he's been listening to different music for a new feel for this CD, Innocence:

Bloom gave his music some fresh turns this time. There's more Mediterranean influence for one thing, evident in the guitars. I don't listen to pop or rock anymore he says. The music I hear is North African or Gypsy music. I needed a new palette
