The Elders: just like live

The Elders have announced that they have finished mixing their brand new CD. So you know new songs exist. And because they're about to play a major outdoor gig in Kansas City, you know there's an occasion where they play songs. So now you know as much as I do.

Now if for some reason you can't go Shamrockin, all is not lost - unless you are. Perhaps you got lost in the music (or the toilets) at the Westsider.

Assuming you're not lost, stick on the last Elders CD you bought (you'll have to wait just a couple of weeks for that new CD), then go to PhotoGal's Smugmug Gallery of Paddy's Day and the Elders Hoolie back in March (when the weather was warm).

Carefully position your cursor on the 'NEXT' button, and once your CD starts playing, click that mouse at the rate of 24 times per second. This might seem difficult but it's nowhere near as fast as Michael Flatley. Simultaneously stare at the screen blinking, synchronizing your blinks with your clicks. The end effect will be just like watching the Elders live.

Handy Irish Phrase: Chomh luath le hintinn mná idir beirt fhear   (As fast as a woman's mind between two men)

Hat Tip: sylvestertx on Elders messageboard
