Kansas Lets Phelps Continue

The Kansas man who doesn't like Irish Poets because they're all, obviously, dandies, is back in the news again.

Worse than comparing Ireland to Sweden, is what Phelps does to the bereaved when he pickets the funerals of soldiers because he believes the deaths are divine retribution for America’s acceptance of homosexuality.

Dozens of states, including Missouri, have passed laws restricting or prohibiting funeral protests - but Phelps' own state, Kansas, can't quite get its act together, fearful of being challenged on 1st Amendment grounds. They'll try again next year.
