Irish Fest Music & Dance update

The Irish Fest has had a major update of entertainers for the 2006 festival. With 45 new Irish acts there are now about 70 performers listed, including a midwest U2 tribute band.

From a city known for its German roots, what Milwaukee has achieved since the early 1980s, to promote their Gaelic heritage is astounding. It is because of the development of the Irish Fest Summer School, that they hold the week before the festival that I am most impressed. 2006 sees its 20th anniversary.

Still want that leprechaun gone though.
