The Indulgers' summer plans
The Kansas City Irish Festival back in 2003 was when I last saw The Indulgers. Indeed two of the photos on their homepage are of that beautiful evening in Berkley Park.
Well the Colorado-based Celtic Rock'n'Roll fusion people are still doing their thing, and perhaps sensibly, they just update their blog on an almost seasonal basis.
The Indulgers will be playing at the Bolder Boulder, one of the largest road races in the world, and the Wyoming Celtic Festival on June 24/25.
Indulger Damien McCarron has also just been back home to Dublin and in the blog reflects on the differences that have taken place over the last few years to his hometown - specifically the fishing village of Howth a few miles north of Dublin city centre:
Bill Whelan (Riverdance) has an amazing house. They say it took 14 million Euro to build it. Larry Mullin (U2) also lives in Howth as does Barney McKenna (Dubliners) and many more from all over the worldHad a cone there last October, a 99. Reasonably priced.
