KC Metro Buses on St Patrick's Day

On Friday, March 17, The Metro will reroute buses in the downtown and Crown Center areas for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade by 8 a.m. at the latest, however:

buses may need to be rerouted before 8 a.m. if the KC Police Department determines that street closures are needed earlier. The parade is scheduled to end at about 1 p.m. Buses will return to regular routes as the parade clears and the crowd has dispersed.

With the mess downtown is in this could be a good year to skip the car, and use the bus - many will get you within a block or two of the Parade: #108, #27, #28, #51, #53, #54, #55, #57, #123, #142, #173, and everybody's favourite bus, The Max

Expect problems if you were thinking of catching a bus in Westport.
