MVFS Board Opportunities

The Missouri Valley Folklife Society has been around for 25 years, constantly bringing to Kansas City music of the highest quality, much of it Celtic, all year round. It is a 501c, all volunteer organization, and it needs your help.

The tremendous performers MVFS has brought in are too many to remind you. Suffice to say the MVFS has provided Kansas City with many of its highlights in live music through the years, shows that otherwise you would not have had the chance to see.

The Irish community in particular has benefitted from so much great music being brought in to KC, but to continue the MVFS needs new blood. TONIGHT the MVFS will be having their May board meeting in which new board members are selected

If you yourself are not interested but you know of someone who might be, even if they don't regularly attend MVFS concerts, please send them to the MVFS meeting. If you are a person or knows of anyone who complains for lack of a vibrant Celtic music scene in KC, now is the chance to make a difference.

May 16th, 7pm
HJ's (Across from St. Andrews Episcopal Church)
6401 Wornell Terrace
Kansas City, Missouri
