Alternative is a lot of scrolling and squinting and trying to remember how many comments were on a message the last time you read it. I had totally missed Brett's comments about W. J. McBride's until just now when I saw it in the new box. I'd say it's definitely worthwhile. Just one man’s opinion but as someone who tries to check in with the blog every day I find the new “latest comments” box VERY helpful.
