What a revolutionary idea! You’re practically suggesting that a blog could be the basis of a conversation. I might have to concede that you could be on to something.

Oh and it’s a lovely 79 degrees here in sunny Orlando - a touch warmer than the KC that saw me off this morning. I’ve been told that Dog-dog has made it this far and is now checked in for this Aer Lingus flight. I think I’ll go to the window and see if I can see.

Because Twitter’s 3 hours of slow time due to maintenance last night has turned into 15 hours of downtime, I’ll post this note here to say that I’m in Atlanta at the moment and boarding another plane in a few minutes.

98% of the views from KC were just a solid wall of white cloud, so when I got the wonderful views finally over Georgia I couldn’t tear myself from the window even to take photos to punish you with. I especially enjoyed seeing from the sky where on the ground I had cycled all those years ago.

I will of course, thank you. Dog-dog is taking off this very minute and my plane has just been called to board. The dog was in good form when I left her and her check-in to cargo went well. She even did what dogs do outside their office. I felt as good as I could.

I’m not very happy with how the Dublin end is scheduled to work, but I’ll talk about that Irish government nonsense later. I don’t have time now because surprisingly the security pulled me in and gave me the once over. Or was it the twice over? Whatever number it was, it was the over bit I could have done without.

Listening to Eddie Delahunt’s and John Morris’ wall of sound of Sunday was a highlight of my trip. It was very nice talking to you. I love a good monologue

I’m sure you’ll let us know when you and dog-dog get to Ireland safely. I’m worried about her. It was good seeing you Sunday night and I’m sorry I didn’t get to see more of you on your visit. As soon as I am done with school I shall be making a trip your way. til then..
