I’ve been listening to Shenanigans for years, so I’m admittedly prejudiced in their favor, but I certainly would not have been listening to a bunch of bigots. They have always had fun with their music and encouraged others to do so as well, and never in a mean-spirited manner. You need to learn to lighten up.

The group has some amazing talent and very good people in it. What you saw and what you described is not what DogTree is or what we would like to be. I formed this band and yes, I was also in Shenanigans. I can honestly say that it was never our intent to insult or mock anyone, Irish or otherwise. I am truly sorry if we did so. DogTree does play Celtic music but we are playing other genres as well. I agree that we have a lot of room to grow and that we will have to learn from the good and the bad.
